Manage your profile, preferences, and account security settings.

Interface Language

You can change the Voicord interface language from Account Settings. This affects all menus, buttons, and system messages. Your language preference syncs across devices.

The interface language is separate from your transcription language — you can use the app in Chinese while transcribing English lectures, for example.

Recording Defaults

Set default languages and translation preferences so you don't have to configure them every time you start a recording.

Source Language — The language being spoken. You can set a default or leave it on auto-detect.

Translation Target — Your preferred translation target language for one-way translation.

Two-Way Languages — The language pair for two-way translation mode, with a swap button to quickly reverse the direction.

Auto Picture-in-Picture — When enabled, a floating transcript window appears if you navigate away during recording, so you never miss what's being said.

Display Preferences

Customize how transcripts are displayed:

Font Size — Adjust the text size for the normal transcript view and the floating Picture-in-Picture window independently.

Segment Line Breaks — Controls whether transcript segments are separated by line breaks. Turn this off for a more compact view.

Student Verification

Students can verify their status to unlock discounted annual pricing. The verification process requires a school email address and supporting documents.

    Open Student Verification

    Go to Account Settings and find the Student Verification section.

    Enter your information

    Provide your first name, last name (must match your student documents), and school-issued email address (.edu, .ac.uk, .edu.cn, etc.).

    Upload documents

    Upload 1–3 supporting documents: Student ID card, tuition receipt, enrollment letter, or academic transcript. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, PDF (max 5MB per file).

    Wait for review

    Verification is typically reviewed within 1–2 business days. Once approved, the student discount is automatically applied to annual plans.

Supported School Emails

We accept school email domains from 14+ regions including .edu (US), .edu.cn (China), .edu.au (Australia), .ac.uk (UK), .ac.jp (Japan), .ac.kr (Korea), .edu.sg (Singapore), and more.
